The 5-6-7 Chev Club of Saskatoon hosted their annual event. Many Draggins cars attended the kick off on May 21 2016 at Warman's Legends Complex. All enjoyed burgers & catching up with the car community after another long winter

Coachmen Fun Run
June 5 2016 saw the the Pike Lake Provincial Park bursting at the edges with all makes & shapes of cars for a terrific day of visiting, checking out everyone's projects & fun competitions. This annual event is put on by the Coachmen Car Club of Saskatoon. Thanks for a great day!
Show & Shine for Fort Mac
May 21 2016 saw the Martinsville Canadian Tire parking lot filled with over 110 cars, trucks & bikes for a cruise day to raise money in support of Fort McMurray to help recovery after the tragic fire that destroyed so many homes. Wayne Pegg, representing the Draggins car club, presented a cheque on their behalf .
Draggins Appreciation Barbeque
June 6 2016 saw the streets by the Draggins club house lined with a great showing of hot rods, muscle cars & antiques. A chance to see new winter projects coming out of the garages & meeting new car owners to join the old friends! Thanks everyone for coming out!
Downtown Show & Shine
Downtown Saskatoon streets were filled with over 800 classic vehicles on Sunday Aug 21 2016. Beautiful hot weather brought thousands of spectators out to stroll & view the cars from 11am to 5pm.
Tiger Automotive Show & Shine
Draggins members attended the Tiger Automotive Show & Shine in July 2016 where lots of folks came out to see the cars & visit with the owners. The event was sponsored by Tiger Automotive to raise funds for the Saskatoon Crisis Nursery. Wayne Pegg presented a cheque from the Draggins Car Club & members look forward to the show again next year.
Preston Park Retirement Residence
Numerous members joined along with the 5-6-7 Chev club cars & many other great classic vehicles in the parking lot of the residence on Aug 16 2016. We were treated to complementary barbeque & the great music of a local band.
Cruisin for a Cause MS
Draggins club members joined the large crowd on Thursday Aug 25 2016 at the A & W to support their drive for support of MS, an annual fundraiser that A & W hosts to donate huge contributions for MS. Club President Rod Diacon presented a cheque on behalf of the Draggins Club & all enjoyed the band playing & teenburgers to support MS as well.
Elim Church Show & Shine
Lots of great vehicles were displayed at the Elim Church on Sat Aug 27th to support the local Habitat for Humanity Project.
Donation
President Rod Diacon presented the 2016 club donation for $35,000 to continue the support of Camp Easter Seal on Nov 7 2016. Receiving the funds was Joyce Phillips, Regional Director of Saskatoon branch of Saskatchewan Abilities Council, who expressed much appreciation & brought the club up to date on the camp.

Santa Claus Parade
The annual Saskatoon Santa Claus Parade, Nov 20, attracted a huge crowd through the downtown on a sunny warm afternoon. The club had a great time building their float, decorating their cars, & participating in the celebrations. The "Home for the Holidays" theme of the parade was displayed with their cozy chairs in front of a warm fireplace, gifts under the tree, & surrounded by cool cars! Merry Christmas Everyone!
NuFab
Over 100 vehicles participated in the 6th annual show held Sept 17 in parking lot of NuFab Building Products in support of the Children's Hospital Foundation. It was another great day visiting with lots of spectators & car owners, complete with a barbeque, music & great door prizes. Look forward to next years show.
